CONCLUSIONS
The analysis performed has generated numerous results
from a practical industrial point of view and in terms of
institutional research.
In fact, other than the interesting results relative to the
specific application, this study again verified the
potential of the object_oriented simulation language in
modeling a real production plant.
The model built was particularly flexible, especially
because of its modular design.
In fact, it was
subsequently subjected to an additional analysis over an
even wider spectrum that was designed to improve the
specific production capacities of the different
components.
The potential of the specific tool used has indicated a
certain amount of flexibility even though it was too
complicated in terms of calculations for low_level
machines (personal computers) compared to general
purpose instruments.
