Mission Cost

• Evaluated as combination of time_mission_cycle, capacity engaged (Qmax) during the period and cost coefficient :

Cost_Mission =Coeff_Cost · Qmax · time_mission_cycle

• Coeff_Cost [$/t·day] mainly depends on the typology of products to be handled, on requested ship size and on the contract type (Contract of Affreightment, Spot and Time Charter)

• Qmax= Max(Qtratta-j) for (j=1,….,s) where Qtratta-j is the sum of flows relative to the j-th path

• Time_mission_cycle depends on the navigation time, on impact factors related to Ports, Sea and Terminal, and on loading/unloading times.
